as they had gained their freedom and nationhood from the United Kingdom hundreds
of years ago. July 4th, 2017 marks the 241st Independence
Day this year and celebrations include feasts, plenty of laughter and firework
etc.

with memorials, tributes, and all things in red, blue and white.
Every year, the July 4th has become a national
holiday with parades, parties, family reunions, and other events taking place
across America. Fourth of July is celebrated with fireworks, one of the common
ways to celebrate Independence Day.

independence from the British Empire.
On July 4, 1776, the thirteen colonies of America had declared
themselves to be the states of a new nation. The declaration was made through

father Thomas Jefferson.
It has to be noted that the thirteen colonies were a group of
colonies run by the British.

Rhode Island is the place where the first Independence Day
celebrations of USA took place. The celebrations took place on July 4, 1777. Thirteen
gunshots were fired in a salute, marking one for each colony.
